Introduction to Spiritualism Day Seminar
  Saturday -  2nd March, 10am to 4pm
with Roy Candy DSNU

There is NO charge for the day but please bring a packed lunch. Hot drinks will be available.  

There will be a PowerPoint presentation. Topics will be as follows:

Session 1  10am to 11.30am Welcome and introduction to the course. What is  Spiritualism?   A Science, Religion and a Philosophy Brief history of modern Spiritualism including major figures from the pioneering days.  

Coffee break  

Session 2  11.45am to 1pm  The Philosophy of Spiritualism including the Seven Principles. Discussion of attendees’ understanding of life after death.  

Break for Lunch  

Session 3   1.30pm to 2.45pm   How the Church is run. Relationship with the Spiritualists’ National Union and the District Council.   Education and Awards: Education Scheme - Spiritual Healing 

Tea break  

Session 4   3pm to 4.00pm approx.  Types of communication and the mediumship that supports it, physical and mental.
